CompPair Joins the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA)

Strengthening our commitment to building a circular future for composite materials

At CompPair, sustainability isn’t just a pillar of our product—it's a core value embedded in everything we do. That's why we are proud to announce that CompPair has officially signed the Declaration of the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA), a new initiative led by EuCIA in partnership with JEC.

Launched in 2024, the ECCA aims to accelerate the transition toward a fully circular economy for composite materials in Europe. The alliance brings together stakeholders across the composite value chain to coordinate action and set industry-wide targets for circularity, innovation, and impact.

A shared vision for circular composites

The ECCA is built around five key focus areas:

1. Design for circularity and recycling

2. Collection and sorting of composite waste

3. Uptake of recycled content in new products

4. Investment in recycling technologies and research

5. Monitoring and measuring progress at an industry level

Together, these pillars form the foundation for a more circular and sustainable composite industry—one that aligns with our mission at CompPair.

What this means for CompPair

By joining the ECCA, we are reinforcing our commitment to developing composite solutions that go beyond reducing impact—they actively preserve materials, extend product lifetimes, and eliminate unnecessary waste.
